As part of our efforts to introduce students to the best ideas and brightest minds, we invite Northeastern University undergraduates to join us for dinner with Professor Richard Wamai, after his public talk “Ending the Scourge of Visceral Leishmaniasis.” Professor Wamai will be speaking as part of our ongoing Seminar on Leadership, Research, and Innovation 2019.

The dinner will feature a small, intimate conversation with Professor Wamai hosted by Professor Erin Cram and the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships. Undergraduates are expected to come armed with questions and ready to converse. Professor Wamai co-founded the Integrated Initiative for Global Health at Northeastern and is building a research center in rural Kenya, where he has been conducting research on the neglected tropical disease for the past eight years.
